CRB · SHELLBACK
Soft Packs Fold.
This One Won't.
A one-piece moulded shell on an alloy spine. 25 litres that keeps its shape under load, sheds the wind at speed, and takes the hit instead of passing it on. Five colourways.
Monocoque Shell
One moulded piece — no seams to split, no panels to crush.
Alloy Spine
Load rides on a metal backbone, not on your shoulders.
25 Litres
Commute kit, a lid, or a weekend — roll-top swallows it.
Weather Sealed
Roll-top closure over a hard shell. Rain stays outside.
The outer shell is a one-piece moulded monocoque on an alloy spine — not padded fabric. It holds its shape under load, keeps the pack off your back at speed, and stops your laptop, visor or camera getting crushed. It is protective luggage, not certified body armour.
60-day risk-free trial and a 1-year warranty on materials and workmanship. If it's not for you, send it back.
1× CRB Shellback 25L in your chosen colourway, and a care card. Cargo nets and helmet nets clip to the mounting points and are sold separately.
A pack should hold its shape at 100.
Most riders strap a hiking pack to their back and hope. It balloons in the wind, drags at the shoulders, and folds around whatever is inside it. The Shellback is one moulded shell on an alloy spine — it sits tight, it stays quiet, and what goes in comes out the same shape.

earns its place.

Monocoque hardshell
One moulded shell, not stitched panels. Nothing to split at the seams, nothing to fold when you load it — and it takes a knock without passing it through.

Alloy spine rail
The shell mounts to a drilled alloy backbone that carries the weight down your back instead of hanging it off your shoulders.

Weatherproof roll-top
A padded roll-top lid folds down and clamps shut over the shell mouth. No zip to fail, no seam for water to find.

Four-point harness
Padded shoulders plus chest and waist straps pull the load in tight so nothing shifts when you get on the throttle.

Steel mounting points
Bolted triangular anchors take a cargo net, a helmet net or a strap. The pack grows with what you bolt to it.

Ventilated back panel
A bolstered foam profile lifts the shell off your spine and channels air up your back — the difference between a 20-minute ride and a two-hour one.
One shell.
Five ways to wear it.

Frequently asked
questions.
A full commute load — laptop, lunch, a change of clothes and a jacket — with room to spare. Roll the top down further for a slimmer profile on lighter days, or let it out when you are carrying a lid.
No — and we won't pretend otherwise. The Shellback is protective luggage: a moulded shell that guards your gear and adds a rigid layer behind you. It is not CE-certified body armour. If you want certified spine protection, wear a certified back protector under it.
Five: Blackout, Desert Tan, Signal Red, Bush Olive and Hi-Vis. Same shell, same spine, same price — pick it in the Colour selector above.
No. A rigid shell has nothing to flap, and the tapered back sheds air rather than scooping it. The four-point harness pulls the load in tight so it does not tug at your shoulders.
The shell is sealed and the roll-top clamps down over the opening, so rain runs straight off. There is no exposed zip to leak — that is the point of a roll-top.
The bolstered foam back panel lifts the shell off your spine and channels airflow up your back, which makes a real difference on an Australian summer commute.
Plenty of buyers do — it works as a hard-sided commuter or camera pack. Just know it's cut for riding first.
About 3.1 kg empty. That is heavy for a backpack and light for a moulded shell on an alloy frame — the weight is the structure. On the bike you feel it as stability, not load, because the spine carries it.
60-day risk-free trial. Ride with it, load it, test it. If it's not for you, send it back — plus a 1-year warranty on materials and workmanship.
Tracked shipping Australia-wide, typically 5–9 business days, free on this item. You'll get a tracking link as soon as it leaves.
Ride it for 60 days.
